Meet the Hosts, Ric & Dan

Ric Tyler
Ric brings more than 30 years of television and radio production, writing, and research to Sutherland Weston. With a journalism background which includes a journalism degree from the University of Maine, Ric’s experience in news reporting, and news writing aids in creating vibrant advertising copy, spicy conceptual design and attention-grabbing media relations materials.
At Sutherland Weston, Ric helps lead the creative video and audio campaign team in developing television, radio, and social media efforts.

Dan Cashman
Dan Cashman is an Old Town native, who’s spent most of his life in Eastern Maine, aside from a stint in New York City interning at MSNBC and WFAN radio. A graduate of the University of Maine, Dan began his career with six years in radio before moving into a position as assistant press secretary for Gov. John Baldacci.
After leaving state government, he launched a small business in Bangor, and in 2015 joined Sutherland Weston as Public Relations Director, where he continues helping organizations share their stories.
